| Well I have taken the asvab now, I suppose I did pretty well. I got a 72 overall for the airforce, I also found out that each branch scores differently. Some of my scores in the other branches were 220's ? At any rate, I am qualified for just about anything. But I still haven't made a definite decision as to what I am going to do. My parents would rather me finish school, and if I go to school after I get out, everyone will be gone I will probably never see alot of you guys again. I'm just not sure either way they both have ups and downs and it's a big decision....Another factor is I don't know for sure which God wants me to do. I feel that God led me to SBU but i don't feel like CIS is for me and I have wanted to go into the military for some time. Soo... | | |
| Let's see if anybody reads this.... well as of now, I have decided to join the Air Force. Why? (Money)It pays for college, college is expensive, my scholarship was cut in half, it makes me feel bad that my parents are very tight with money now because of it. Plus i'll also get paid to boot, an additional $300 a month since I already have 45 hours completed of college. (Education) I'll get my education in technical school for whatever i choose to do, and then i'll also get my college education. (Adventure) I will get to travel to new places, stay at nice places. This is something i don't get the opportunity to do very often. (Occupation) The way I see it, the longer till I get to my occupation the better, because working a job gets old. Working the same 8 to 5 everyday trying only to maximize profits of whatever company. In the air force who knows where i'll be at, what i'll be doing. (SBU) SBU has alot of very disagreeable rules... plus financial aid has been a pain in my ass. So it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. I am going to finish this semester, I have to go do the ASVAB since i skipped that day in high school. I get shuttled to KC and I stay in the Mariott while I go through the process of doing the ASVAB, physical test, like that will be hard for me, and figure out what area I will specialize in. Then I will attend next semester with a light load, enjoy the semester, hopefully spend time with you guys. Track, and then I will be off to boot camp and so and so. | | |
| Hey... here are some pictures of my dorm room.

This is my computer underneath the loft and by the window, as you can tell

This is matt's tv, and my speakers which we don't use very often, but hey we can. You can also see the alarm clock by the fan, which i have to get down from the loft every morning to turn off, and sometimes i almost don't make it down safely.

if you can't tell, thats a chair, and a table.

this would be my bed on top of the loft. Yes its really close to the ceiling, and no i havne't hit my head...but I will sometime its enevitable. It's really nice being on the right side, because i can watch tv, and use my computer from my bed.
